Managing director Mark Higginbottom has recently returned from a fruitful trip to Florida where new market initiatives have been put in place.
Whilst in Florida Mark spent time with students from the Department of Marine Ecosystems and Society,at the University of Miami. Several days were spent in the beautiful setting of Biscayne Bay just a few miles from the centre of the city. The students were introduced to PAM systems and how they are used for mitigation purposes.
After this, Mark met up with friends from the Scottish Fishermen’s Federation (Steven Alexander and Raymond Hall) for visits to both MVI and CSA in Stuart, Florida and to Clearwater Aquarium.
New business strategies were discussed and put in place for the coming years, with future co-operation at the heart of the meetings.
